Instagram Soon Start Testing Full Screen Photos

Instagram’s controversial redesign turned the app into TikTok, but that does not mean the company is losing track of providing comfort to its users. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri has said the photo-sharing app soon brings a feature for full-screen photos with a 9:16 ratio in a week or two. Now, images with an aspect ratio of 4:5 can post on Instagram.

 He said, Instagram users can see full-screen videos on Instagram, but the size of the images is not the same, so the company thinks both should treat equally.

The announcement comes after Adam Mosseri made a few changes that turned Instagram into TikTok in late July following user criticismNo Instagram’s TikTok-like full-screen home feed launch font will be present to users now, but it is for photos.
