Instagram Testing “Pin Grid Posts” Feature

Meta-owned photo-sharing app Instagram is testing a new feature that will allow users to pin posts to their profiles. Like the notes pinned to the top of your Google Keep home screen, these posts will let profile visitors learn more about you quickly through a few key posts.

These users can pin posts such as tweets on Twitter or videos on TikTok to the top of their profile. This feature has reportedly been working for months. People who access this feature will see the “Pin to your profile” option in the three-dot menu (context menu) on Instagram posts.

Pinned Instagram posts allow creators and other professionals to highlight their best work at the top of their profiles so the visitors can find what they’re looking for easily without scrolling multiple posts. It will also help your Instagram feed become a ‘portfolio’ for artists to showcase their best and most relevant work.

This feature uses to enlighten favorite posts that hide in photo gride and is also helpful for creators to make prominent specific posts. This feature will improve the ability to pin stories. Although you can currently highlight a post in a story and then pin that story to your profile, this new feature will make the process much easier.

Always remember that it could still be a long time before you see the feature in action on your Instagram profile. This feature is in the testing phase. Instagram sometimes releases new features in certain countries and regions earlier than others means other users have to wait longer.
